3 Jan 2018 (AFR) – Housing slowdown poses risk to manufacturing jobs

‘The manufacturing sector is exhibiting signs of a potential contraction linked to the slowdown in housing construction. This poses a bigger risk to jobs than the shutdown of automotive manufacturing because there are so many businesses in the construction supply chain.
