14 June 2017 (AFR) – Baby Bunting shares crunched by fear of Amazon

Baby Bunting share price‘In just four months, the “fear of Amazon” factor has wiped $120 million in sharemarket value from Baby Bunting, the dominant retailer in Australia’s $2.5 billion baby products segment. Investors are worried that when Amazon begins its Australian operations it will offer much lower prices on a string of baby goods like prams, cots and other equipment and shred the strong margins enjoyed by Baby Bunting, which runs 42 large retail stores and has a growing online presence.’
