27 Feb 2017 (AFR) – Resources investment has further to fall: WoodMac

‘Resources investment across Australia is set to plunge by 26 per cent this year and will sink by billions of dollars more over the next two years despite new projects in copper and zinc, according to a new analysis. While a recovery is anticipated in 2020, figures from consultancy Wood Mackenzie confirm that the investment boom years in energy and mining of earlier this decade are not to be repeated. ‘
