17 Jan 2017 (AFR) – NAB joins the party – lifts fixed interest rates for home loans

‘National Australia Bank says rising funding costs in global and domestic capital markets has prompted it to increase fixed interest rates on two, three and four-year mortgages. NAB is the last of the major banks to lift fixed interest rates in recent months, with Westpac Banking Corp raising some fixed rates in November, Commonwealth Bank of Australia moving them up in December and ANZ Banking Group lifting two, three and four-year fixed rates last week.’
