‘Like it or not, your investments, your savings and even your home are linked to the bond market. And bonds are not boring – if only they were. They are very exciting indeed, but in a rather terrible way. Bonds have become terribly exciting because of what they have been doing – cratering. They are also exciting because they are the canary that has begun singing increasingly loudly about the end of ever-lower rates and that inflation may indeed not be dead, but just resting.’
