‘The corporate regulator has isolated itself from business, developed a “glass jaw” to criticism and unfairly shifts blame to others, leading directors, senior executives and industry bodies say. More than 200 groups and individuals have deluged a Senate inquiry with concerns, including the Commonwealth Ombudsman which said there had been a 90 per cent increase in complaints against the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.’
